” AKHDAR ” is a community-driven environmental project that aims to expand green spaces across Syria by involving individuals and organizations in supporting and planting trees in public spaces, to create a healthier environment and enhance the aesthetic quality of urban landscapes in cities and towns.
What We Do at Akhdar?
- Planting trees along public roads and walkways
- Greening public parks and open spaces
- Planting trees around buildings, schools, and institutions
- Providing ongoing care for planted trees (watering, pruning, fertilizing)
